RIPE Index is built on a simple and maintainable workflow: WordPress stores the data, ACF structures it, the REST API exposes it, and the frontend visualizes it on the interactive map.
Country data, scores, reports and resources are managed in WordPress.
Advanced Custom Fields store structured data for each country and category.
The data is exposed through the WordPress REST API in real time.
The frontend fetches and processes the data for the user interface.
Scores are visualized automatically on the SVG Europe map.
Each country profile can include country name, ISO code, region, year, summary, overall score, category scores, report URL and resource URL.
The ISO code connects the WordPress country data with the SVG map through the same data-iso value.
Each country receives a score from 0 to 100. Scores are translated into four visual statuses plus a no-data state.
